Honeymoon in Paris

In the collective imagination Paris “The City of Love” is the quintessential romantic city, seducing lovers for centuries with its undeniable poetic beauty and charm. Although many places around the world offer enchanting experiences, the romantic atmosphere of the French capital is legendary.

While a walk through the streets of Paris, a break at a café or brasserie would convey the captivating feel of the city, there are many possibilities for making your honeymoon experience even sweeter by discovery of the more intimate and less crowded places throughout the city.

Let the day begin with a walk in the Luxembourg Gardens, a wonderful public park rich in statues and monuments, such as the Romantic era Fontana dei Medici, Medici Fountain, or the 19th century original model for the Statue of Liberty designed by Frédéric Bartholdi of which a reproduction was gifted to the United States. Another perfect place for relaxing and saying “I love you” is the charming 18th century Monceau Park that offers tranquil streams and ponds in balance with a natural landscape dotted by numerous beautiful reconstructions showcasing historical architectural styles. At night enjoy the light show of the Tour Eiffel from the modern and contemporary art venue Palais de Tokyo, and breathe in the atmosphere of Montmartre, one of the iconic artistic districts of Paris. Get lost in the Louvre galleries and stop to take in Amore e Psiche by Antonio Canova, a sculpture capturing the very essence of eternal love and passion that overcomes the obstacles of fate.

No matter what you and your love are looking to experience on your honeymoon, Paris literally has it all: even down to having 1000 red roses fall from Pont des Arts during a private dinner-cruise! And this only begins to describe how romantic Paris really can be. The stirring passionate quality of this country seemingly permeates every aspect of its culture and air.

Natural and Romantic Provence Experience

Provence holds wonderful surprises for lovers! And couples truly love it! Whether it’s for a weekend or a longer period, everyone loves to feel surrounded by this gentle landscape where relaxation and enjoyment of open natural spaces prevail as guiding principles by which to live.

Discover the island of Porquerolles, part of the Hyeres Islands off the coast of the French Riviera. Here sandy beaches, palm trees, and clear emerald waters transport you and your senses with visions of a tropical paradise. Drive to the cozy seaside village of Cassis to enjoy spectacular seafood dishes and take a boat ride to explore the Calanques and its steep limestone wall inlets. Visit another amorous seaside location, very far off the usual tourist tracks, and swim in the deep blue water of Sanary-sur-Mer or experience its lively town market.

Do not miss a visit to Aix-en-Provence where romance reaches its climax. Fountains and water are everywhere. Since Roman times, natural thermal springs have been flowing beneath the city and Aix is for this reason very rich in spas and natural mineral pools. Outside the city let the Lavender Trail of Provence take you through a landscape of blooming lavender fields during summer months and breathe this relaxing air of the south of France. Make stops in the villages of Gordes or Lourmarin, in the Luberon area, two of the prettiest and charming Provençal town, where you can walk down winding streets to check out the local boutiques and small art galleries.

Live and feel the magic of Provence while enjoying with your love the area’s spectacular sunsets over expansive lavender fields.
